JWU REVEAL Senior Showcase Presents the Next Generation of Designers

Each spring, JWU Graphic Design and Product Design seniors celebrate the success of their time at JWU by showing off their incredible work to the JWU community and the public at the REVEAL Senior Showcase. Their select work is displayed on the gallery walls in the Bowen Center for all to see, and they get to lay out their portfolios for attendees to look through and ask questions about. You can check out their portfolios on the JWU REVEAL Senior Showcase 2023 website.

Students are also presented with a Design Internship certificate from the very professors who have guided them throughout their JWU journey. Associate Professor Deana Marzocchi, Associate Professor Karyn Jimenez-Elliott, Assistant Professor Gail McCarthy, and Dean Frank Tweedie were on hand to congratulate the students and present them with their certificates.

It was an amazing day of celebrating our students before they head out into the world to become the next top designers in the industry. Check out the sights and sounds of the event.

“The faculty here in this department is... I don't even know. I don't even have words. They're so amazing. They're so hands-on. They will help you with anything you need. They're always here after hours, putting in 110% all the time to make the best environment for their students. And the faculty are honestly so close-knit with the students, which is also really nice to have because I know a lot of other colleges are not like that. That close-knit atmosphere is really great to have as an experience here.” — Emma Jones '23

“I took a product design class where I got to use some CAD modeling, and I did 3D modeling. I think that's a really great experience to have, trying out different things that are not just design because you can find lots of different things that you like that you didn't know about.” — Aurora Buchanan '23

“I've had a very good experience at JWU. I've had the ability to create a very broad and diverse portfolio. I've been able to work on things that I wanted to work on and things that I wouldn't think I would have enjoyed but really enjoyed working on.” — Jonah McGowan ’23

“If I can put one word on my general experience, it would definitely be 'holistic.' Everything about the design department is designed to get you to be a professional. Everything comes in and it's all focused on making you the best designer you can be.” — Noah Fye ’23
