Our new Career-Focused Degree program lets you complete your degree in just three years with a streamlined, 90-credit curriculum. If you prefer a more traditional pace, the four-year degree path is also available, offering the same rigorous preparation for your future career.

Each fall, hospitality students visit Boston, one of the country’s top travel destinations, to examine the multifaceted functions of a major hotel brand up-close. Students shadow industry professionals and gain insights into daily operations, preparing them to lead in the diverse and exciting field of hospitality.
Where the classroom becomes a restaurant. Students develop the menus, manage the front and back of the house, recommend wine pairings, serve the guests and practice managing staff. The guests are JWU students, faculty and staff who provide feedback for the students.
Discover the world of beverages through tasting and experimentation in this cutting-edge facility. Students conduct tastings of beverages such as water, tea, coffee, beer, wine or spirits with the goal of learning the techniques of sensory perception, how to conduct professional flavor profiles and how to pair food with all types of beverages.
